He loved Les Mis, and this song keeps playing in my head.

…I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame

…But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So much different from this hell I’m living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.

You have a riveting web log
and undoubtedly must have
atypical & quiescent potential
for your intended readership.
May I suggest that you do
everything in your power to
honor your encyclopedic/omniscient
Designer/Architect as well
as your revering audience.
As soon as we acknowledge
this Supreme Designer/Architect,
Who has erected the beauteous
fabric of the universe, our minds
must necessarily be ravished with
wonder at this infinite goodness,
wisdom and power.

Please remember to never
restrict anyone’s opportunities
for ascertaining uninterrupted
existence for their quintessence.

There is a time for everything,
a season for every activity
under heaven. A time to be
born and a time to die. A
time to plant and a time to
harvest. A time to kill and
a time to heal. A time to
tear down and a time to
rebuild. A time to cry and
a time to laugh. A time to
grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones
and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a
time to turn away. A time to
search and a time to lose.
A time to keep and a time to
throw away. A time to tear
and a time to mend. A time
to be quiet and a time to
speak up. A time to love
and a time to hate. A time
for war and a time for peace.

Best wishes for continued ascendancy,
Dr. Howdy

Sueeeus, please remember there are many more people in the world who are sending you good wishes and heartfelt prayers during your time of grief. Hopefully, they will help overcome the crassness and cruelty of the first comment.

I lost my Mum 8 weeks agao – yes, I am still counting and everyday it hurts. I don’t know what I expected it to feel like or how long it would last but every day suprises me.However, what gets me through the day is the love of my friends and family and the need to live every day to the fullest because life is too short. I know my Mum would have wanted this more than anything. I don’t presume to know how you feel but I am sending you hugs and kind thoughts from Melbourne, Australia. Blessings to you, Yasmin

Dear Sueeeus – I’m still thinking of you and hoping that you are feeling a little better each day.

Dear Sueeeus – thank you for your comment about my garden and the reference to my tea preferences. If I made you smile today, then my day has been worthwhile. I hope that each day you will find something to smile about until you are your old happy self again.
